Atasehir

Atasehir

Ataşehir is a district located on the Anatolian side of Istanbul. Located in the eastern half of Istanbul, in the western part of the Kocaeli Peninsula, the district has no coastline.

There are 17 districts in total. It is surrounded by Kadıköy in the southwest, Üsküdar in the west, Ümraniye in the north, Sancaktepe in the east and Maltepe in the southeast.

The population of the district as of 2019 is 425,094. Its Total Area is 25.84 km² (997 mi²). The transportation network in Ataşehir is very developed. Access to both bridges from Ataşehir is very easy.
